Not terribly informative

Very disappointed upon receiving this book, because it is little, virtually a lot of sort of a pamplet. however my chief grievance is that numerous designers are overlooked. The designers who are profiled during this mini-book are solely given a paragraph every. I additionally expected a lot of photos in a very book regarding the fifty most iconic fashion designers, nevertheless there are simply some tiny photos, and none are terribly attention-grabbing. No photos from the Sixties or Seventies. i like seeing photos of, say, Ossie Clark's, Paco Rabanne's or Andre Courreges' styles. you will not realize any of that during this book.

almost a good tool

The text, because the previous reviewer writes, is great. i like the preliminary chapters for content and skill to speak varied ideas of fashion thinking. However, within the tutorials there are enough missing or unclear steps to frustrate somebody making an attempt to find out new software. it might be useful if the reader/user has previous familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop so as to figure past these problems. Needless to mention, the text elements that integrate Illustrator and Photoshop tools are quite useful and promote realistic ways in which to use the software applications along. i'm happy with the text, however do forestall to a second edition.

I only recently purchase this book, at a time once I was obtaining alittle discourage as a stylist. It helped me to comprehend that there are smart days and unhealthy days and to stay my head up! i feel that the book chosed me at that terribly moment. it's terribly useful in terms of preparation for production shoots. conjointly informative in knowing the various ways that every photographer preps and the way Mrs. Coddington binds with every photographer's ideas.
